How do I delete a tag value?

Is it possible to delete a tag value? We had some erroneous tag values sneak in, and it’s cluttering the dropdown of tag values. I tried deleting all the associated issues and events, but the invalid tag values are still populated in the list of suggested tag values. Thanks.
