Is Sentry reasonably reliable?

I tried Sentry a while back but ended up ditching it because a significant percentage of the errors logged were problems with the Sentry software itself i.e. bad connections and such.

Wondering if it’s worth giving Sentry another try? Have others found reliability is adequate?
