As long as you keep the Docker volumes around, all upgrades are meant to carry over and migrate existing data.

I think only the user created during the first run of the sentry docker who has set up as the admin can enter the admin page. If using the correct password, sentry does not give access to the admin page (manage page) but only reloads the password input page and asks me to enter the password again. that’s the problem, so I can’t go to the admin page to configure my sentry

@sibunglon - That means you are using the Docker image with your own setup. Without knowing how you set things up, I really cannot help you. The best way to avoid this is to use our advertised onpremise repo which keeps the volumes around.

@BYK If I migrate to onpremise, can existing data be preserved?

Yes it can but you need to map your existing postgres volume manually which would be the same thing as upgrading your normal Docker image based setup.
