When a new alert is created, I receive emails with subjects that start with something like: “ANDROID-XX” where XX is some letter/number, eg, 3F, 39 or 3H. I have a project called “android”… but what are those suffixes supposed to designate?
I think those are the issue ID’s (Incrementing values on every error)
If that’s the case, it seems like something that could be improved. I shouldn’t have to do mental math to figure out how new/old an issue is. What’s wrong with numbers in base10?
The idea was that those issue IDs are easier to memorize. Yes, the ID can no longer easily be used to determine the order in which issues were created, but each issue has multiple timestamps that should help you figure this out.
