We pass some critical identifying info through the ‘extra’ params, it would be great to be able to search for issues happening that match some ‘extra’ criteria.

It’s not possible. If you need a value to search on, you should set it as a tag. Tags are indexed, extra is not.
A bit of color, we one day would like this to be searchable, but the cost is fairly high today for the amount of data we accept.
