Performance tweaks

Hello, I’ve looked the forums for tips or performance adjustments for Sentry but only found old posts and probably not related to how things work nowadays.

We’re hosting Sentry on a m4.large in AWS, there are other servers running but most of the time things are okay. From time to time CPU usage peaks, there something to do with Snuba.

The question is, what are the parameters we can adjust to make Sentry take less CPU? We’re not handling too many events at the moment so any way to make it run things less often or subsystems we can turn off?

I appreciate any help or suggestions you can provide.

This is late but I think the best and easiest thing you can do is to use dedicated workers for busy queues: How to clear backlog and monitor it
