Sentry is planning to deprecate the Taiga, Lighthouse, and Grove.io plugins on 8/5/2019, due to lack of meaningful usage of those plugins.
What this means for self-hosted Sentry:
On/after 8/5/2019, if you update your Sentry instance to the latest version, the Taiga, Lighthouse, and Grove.io plugins will no longer work with Sentry. In addition, if you have used these plugins, all data associated with your projects’s instance of the plugin will be removed from Sentry when you next run migrations on your Sentry instance on/after 8/5/2019.
What this means for SaaS Sentry:
On/after 8/5/2019, instances of these plugins will be disabled and removed from any projects that currently have them enabled. In addition, all data associated with your projects’s instance of the plugin will be removed from Sentry (i.e. linked issues).
At Sentry, user experience is p a r a m o u n t. We’re working on improving the experience of using tools integrated with Sentry: Deprecating lesser-used plugins, which we feel we can no longer adequately maintain, is a part of these improvements. Please reach out to us if you have questions or concerns, however—we want to do everything we can to minimize user issues. You can reach out to us by emailing email@example.com or replying to this post.
Thank you for using Sentry!
