We recently identified a block of code which wasn’t generating regression workflow emails. This was fixed yesterday, and is also available in version 8.9 of Sentry.
If you’re not familiar with how these emails work, they’re classified under our Workflow feature:
This means that they’re not controlled by your alerts configuration. If you’re finding them to be too noisy, you may want to disable workflow by default for your project. You’ll still receive notifications for issues you’ve participated in (resolved, commented, assigned), but you won’t by default get notified for other conversations. Additionally you can unsubscribe from those issues via the actions available on the issue’s details page.
