Cannot receive notification email when using an Email alias

Hi there,

I’m trying to change my account’s email address so that I use and email alias.
Despite getting the message ‘Your email address has not been verified. Resend Verification Email.’, I do not receive any email.

I’ve double checked the email alias and it works perfectly on other occasions.

Any ideas?

For What it’s worth my email alias seems to be working in sentry as well as here on the forums. Using a gmail provider I have (ecoan+sentry@instructure.com).

I did notice my messages going to spam though. Perhaps they ended up there, or took a bit to send?

I did check the spam folder but no, they aren’t there!

Was there ever a resolution to this? I’m having the same issue. I want to use a group email alias for notifications so multiple people in my organization can receive the notifications. But the alias never receives the verification email. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I have the same behaviour with alias on my side, I didn’t receive verification mail and I can’t verify my mail :cry: Anyone have a solution ?
