Can't add Send an E-Mail Action for some projects

Hi,
we have an On-Premise-Installation of Sentry (Sentry 20.8.017e488c),
for some of our projects when creating a new alert rule
the dropdown for ‘Perform these Actions’ does not show the option ‘Send an Email’

For other projects on the same instance it works without problems, did I overlook an option to enable this action for a project?
Also the projects where the Send an Email-Option is not available were imported from an earlier Sentry Version.
