Events without Geolocation information

Hello,

I have a sentry on prem instance with the versions:
SENTRY_IMAGE=getsentry/sentry:21.2.0
SNUBA_IMAGE=getsentry/snuba:21.2.0
RELAY_IMAGE=getsentry/relay:21.2.0
SYMBOLICATOR_IMAGE=getsentry/symbolicator:0.3.3

I followed those instructions to enable Geolocation. The mmdb is downloaded successfully.

The configuration for the map path is set in relay and web.

The session History shows Geolocated IP information: IT (TN)

Events however do not contain Geolocation information. The query !event.type:transaction !geo.country_code:"" is empty.

My Traefik reverse proxy sets this header by default: X-Forwarded-For and I’m setting this header X-Real-Ip manually as well. Nginx is not enabled.

This sounds similar to Geolocation not working. @chadwhitacre was looking into this. I’ll also take a look soon but we’re hoping to resolve the issue by next week.
