Any plans to make use of GitHub CODEOWNERS metadata in sentry releases? e.g. suggested owners computation? It makes sense that if a declared code owner exists, they could be suggested (in addition to?) the committers. (e.g. committer peels out on vacation and the event gets buried).

+1 on that.
We are a pretty big company (~200 developers) and we have a very inelegant piece of code to do the sentries assignation based on the CODEOWNERS, but it’s a pain, we would be so relieved if it could be supported out of the box by Sentry. CODEOWNERS are becoming kind of a standard.
