I would like to exclude slack notifications that have the environment:development tag. However I’m not sure how to add that in the Excluded Tags text field. Is it just development or environment:development?

Excluded tags field is for tags that you don’t want showing up in the Slack notification. If you don’t want to send a Slack notification at all you can change your alert rule to only notify when environment is prod, production, etc.
