API: How to create & add member to a Team

Hi there

We’re running sentry on-premise and want to assign members to team via API. Official API docs doesn’t mention anything, but digging into code, I found this one:

    except OrganizationMember.DoesNotExist:

Can you confirm this allows assigning an existing member to an existing team? Can you provide an example call pls?

Secondly, is there a way to create/invite member via API too? Here nothing helpful could be found
