Emails sending to users that no longer exists

Any ideas on why emails are being sent to users that no longer exist? I’ve checked the “manage > members” page and I am unable to locate that user.

We are usings AWS SES and I noticed in our SQS queue that emails that are being sent to the user that doesn’t exist is getting bounced. I’m trying to figure out how to have Sentry to stop sending emails out to user that no longer exist.

Can you share what version of Sentry are you using?

We are using version 8.21.0.

I’m suspecting that maybe Sentry is keeping a cache of the old user on the database?

I have no idea actually as 8.21.0 is ancient. This is probably a bug that is fixed in the newer versions.
